Digital Graphic Equalizer

anyone know a really powerful graphic equalizer that is maybe a plugin for wmp or a gui overlay? i find that the wmp equalizer is a bit weak and i would like to replace my physical mixer (which im now using just for bass boost by running my subwoofer through it) with a digital one which can really pump up lower frequencies (35 - 130hz ish) without ruining the sound and still being as effective as the physical mixer once its been through my amp. anyone know what i could get? i am willing to pay alot of money for a good one.

Hmm, if you switch to VLC, I know the equalizer is far larger, but I don't think there are any mods that replace WMP's equalizer with a better one...

im thinking about buying a real one, people are selling ones from the 80s on ebay for like $50, even tho they are old and pretty large in size they still sounds as good and of course as they are shelf mountable they can be made to fit into small spaces. i would prefer a gui overlay if i could get one tho.
