Difference between Spell and Spell Channel

Downloaded a model with spell and spell channel when I do rain of fire sometimes it does spell animation sometimes it does spell channel animation ,
How can I make it do spell channel animation for rain of fire instead of spell animation ?

I had to remove the spell from animation names and just leave channel now it works TY
