Dialog/menu help?

what would in your oppinion be the best interferance option for what I want to achive; You add units to a ship by selecting them on a menu, like dialogs but in the shape of a multiboard preferbly that you can open close. So what should I use?

So... could anyone point me to the right direction? ;]
