Diablo III Warcraft Beta v1.19b



This map has been based on the Diablo III Gameplay Video. You may even recognise a few of the in-game events if you've seen it! Please remember that this is a beta version, and may still contain bugs. Anyone can host this online, just let me know if you find any major flaws in the game :)

Can i give an advice? Theres sooo many thing you done wrong with descriptions. So much, it isnt worth waiting for people to tell it for you. Cus theres a lot. I recommend, that you go through all your item and spell desciptions, and also the dialogs. Cus theres really a lot as i said before. Im primary thinking on items, and spells. Many items show wrong, and as ShadowhunterX said: It says the priestess attack. not the wizards. (thats wrong ^^). Not because i wanna sound lazy. But that seems to me, to be the best way to get rid of all theese annoying mistakes.

Hey

can someone help me get this program working, once i run the map it runs through warcraft 3 editor right.. but after it trys to work it has "Not enough storage is avalable to process this command" if anyone else has encountered this problem can you tell me how to fix it.

CloudWolf, I and All My friends and other people (as i asked) Want a (-save/-load) System If you do it the playing of this map will increase by %100 ... And Much more We Will be *HAPPY* :)

But well... I guess you could atleast check the forums before posting something that has been posted 5 times before :S Its almost getting annoying about the save/load idea.
I mean, why the heck would you want to load a level 15 char in this map -.-
It just destroys everything. Would be quite annoying for a level 1 player that want to actually play that map to have a level 15 that just runs through and destroys the fun.

BTW, im gonna talk with cloudwolf about some epic stuff when i see him next time.
Hopefully he comes soon.. i only manage to contact him about 2/3 times a week nowdays.

IF you implemented a save/load system where you could save whole characters, then you would (unfortunately) also have to redo the whole balancing of difficulty, and increase lvl, meaning you would have to do more work with the spells. All in all, this means, you would have to do tons, of tons of work, and im not sure you're quite up for that much work. It is A LOT after all.

Amazing map. The underground terrain is just excellent, never saw better terrain in any other map. The custom UI is also amazing, the whole inventory system is n/c too.

The only - is that you get bored after finishing it few times, since the quest is always the same.

This is an extremely well made map.. I believed that it would be an average-to-low standard map, but obviously, I was wrong. I was absolutely amazed at the amount of effort put into this map - the part I liked the most was how the environment of this Diablo III map aligned with that of the official gameplay trailer. There were not many flaws in this, which was also an astounding achievement. It might be better if some stats of the monsters were changed (some were too strong, and some were too weak). Also, try to modify the art model for the boss at the end (might be hard...). Anyway, great work! :D

We're planning on incorporating different difficulties like Nightmare and Hell. Normal is the current difficulty. :p

It needs some more role-playing like shops to sell or buy items, maybe more choices in the path, revivable creatures at some points...

We have said it many times before & we wont add cities/vendors
We dont want people to just spend ages in the shop, and if they do, its impossible to complete the map without them.
And choices in the path, it is damn hard for cloudwolf to make such things with he's terrain. But we will try to make a random terrain system that generates a new path everytime.

excellent map !

We played it(and finished it) with 2 friends, the map is beautifull and very well balanced, we want more of it ! :)
I ve never seen such a beautiful environment on a w3 map ! the inventory system is a first too ! A must dl and play !

Awesome game... Great terrain... I played single player and just found a few glitches:

- When the first boss used bloodlust he would then go back to where he started. This allowed me to just back off a bit and wait for him to bloodlust himself if I ran out of mana/ran low on health
- Same thing with the final boss, when he does his knockback, stun attack thing
- Shields come up as weapons (I know, not a glitch but it looked a little weird)
- You can get mana orbs when you have full mana (but you can't get health orbs when you have full health)
- There are a few sets of stairs in the first area you can't go down. Looks a little odd
- Near the end, the caverns that just teleport you to other caverns seem pointless
- It would be nice if Deckard mentioned he wasn't going to help you fight the undead creature. Seemed weird suddenly being on my own
- In your inventory (when you hit escape), mana potions show up as health potions

Hmm, seems like a lot but it's mostly little stuff and doesn't detract much from the game. The terrain is awesome, the inventory system works well, it's a little imbalanced but it IS a beta so I can't whine much about that, the spells are good and killing everything is fun!

It would be more pointless if you just dissaper.

Now i gonna explain whats actually happening.
You help cain when you reach him, that will say, he is week himself, so he can not help you in battle, and when the boss is defeated, he tries to summon you guys out of the castle, but he fails, when you enter you appear in another place insted of getting out.
But all this is still in development.
For example, if he dies... he still open the portal, how did he do that?
And there is nothing that tells you that he is the one that opens the portal or that he tries to get you out of the castle.

This is why we have a huge "BETA" next to the maps name, becouse its still in development and much needs to be fixed & done.

BTW, play it in multiplay insted :p
The single player balancing is not done & unknown glitches can appear if your playing alone.
And never try to use cheats in the map... That will cause the map to glitch up totally at some places.

i think a random map system is possible because i heard that since V 1.24 the map size can be 8 MB so.. you can make man more different terrains on the same map XD

the terrain r epic but i have to say im not impressed w/ the spells. i played the old diablo 2 there is shops in every place you finish hope you can add also w/ good items and droppable items in creeps and boss like in old diablo 2 like socketed gems in weapons etc...and also could improve skills that will give the team player a good strategy..like in dota...hope you get what i mean..gl w/ the map!::grin:

Your one of the problems aswell, you always come to us and give bad comments. Your seriusly getting annyoing. cant you just for once try to be nice? you come here all the time and make me pissed.
You cant just get everything you want, you have to wait for it.
We have a real life aswell, we cant spend all our time on working on the spells.
