This map has been based on the Diablo III Gameplay Video. You may even recognise a few of the in-game events if you've seen it! Please remember that this is a beta version, and may still contain bugs. Anyone can host this online, just let me know if you find any major flaws in the game :)

LOL XD you must have a real shitty comp :p Anyway, lets get back on topic :D

I played the map again with a friend today, and i got a really big messy bug. My barbarian got caught behind some pathing blockers i think. It was when you are about to kill the two mammoths which stand together guarding a chest. After the battle, i found my barbarian was struck behind the doodads. I couldnt get out, so i had to have my friend kill me, and then hope i revieved on the outside. I did :D But still waste of life. I can just say it looks really similar to the Bug with the siege breaker i explained earlier.
I dint take any screenshot cus i was aplying with friend. But hope im a help here anyway :D

I play on my brothers HUGE HDTV with best resolution when i played this map without lag. It looks awesome when i play on that TV. Its like its thousend times bigger screen but the graphic isnt any worse at all xP
And no lag o.o
So i guess people just have bad comps? :S

2564x1560 is the resolution I think.

Lol wut o_O I asked my brother, actually.. thats the exact resolution we have if he didnt remember wrong. :p
I love to play this map on a HDTV with steel series keyboard and mouse but when i play maps like DotA i go like "wtf... lets use the computer screen insted" becouse it take ages just to look around the screen. :p

Here is my rating:
The number of heros is ok cause you said you wait for blizzard.
The Terrein isnt epic its much more. I NEVER saw a better terrein.
There is much good use of imports.
The inventory system itself rock but its visible that it inst made for this map.(much more slots then i could fill).maybe you remove the unneded slots,but idk maybe you add more items :cute:
Balance is perfect. I could win it at singleplayer like i could win it at multiplayer.It is quite challanging but not to hard.
There much more details which iwant to to describe but i think thats enough first.

The only thing what wasnt could are the spells.There isnt many triggered stuff. Dont take me wrong the spells are still good but compared with the rest there arent good.
The spells of the enemies are ok too but besiede the ncie bosses the enemies normally only had standart attacks.

I still rate 5/5 casue the mapis to awsome.

Balance is perfect.

The inventory system is made for this map and i created it.
It is actually possible to fill the inventory, its not that hard if you pick up everything in your path.
And we will add more stuff for the inventory later (like runes for spells).
I really see no reason in removing some slots. :p

No. Its because they had problem with the inventory i believe. I think i recall redmarine or LTGH saying that they couldnt get the minor items to work. So expect all the other items to be in version 1.19 i guess :p Ask the D3W team :)

I think it was a clever chioce :D Cant wait to see the new inventory in v1.19. Btw. Are you still planning on making save/load codes for the map, and then make it so people can use them in all the maps you are going to make?

It is not decided yet. But as of now, we wont add that.

Do you guys have to go through a phase of fixing/recoding a bunch of shit like Wc3:WoW does after the 1.24 patch?

As far as i know, we survived the 1.24 drama.
But we still need to do fixing/recoding becouse CloudWolf who isnt really a triggerer have made some triggering mistakes. And he made a huge amount of incorrect item descriptions aswell. We didnt notice how unstable the map really was until we released it, and i was on vacation when it was released so i couldent do anything.
 
in my opinion a save/load system is a bunch of crap for this map.
If you are at level 21 at the end of the map and you could load your hero again to play the map from the start and you are level 21 it would be way to easy.

A Save/Load system would be great for a Huge Rpg Map pf D3, where the basis is about to get the best items over time and the best skills(skilltree^^)

Well, if you make it so you can load heroes make a difficulty system. Like the one in D2 (Normal, Nightmare, Hell) :).

Fun map =D. Camera messes up a little though (After i died my camera got stuck in the floor.)

You can not open this map in world editor becouse the map is optimised and that makes it like as if it was protected.
We started to optimise the map in 1.18 so its a new feature we did not have before. We decided that people have to use 1.17 from now on if they want to make a mod.

Remember they are still in beta. That means they also keep adding new things to the map, which clealy also mean new bugs. I mean, if they had waited with releasing until they had fixed all bugs, we could have waited a month more for 1.18 -_-

Thats not what he is talking about :p
The new patch destroyed/removed/replaced some triggers so it has to be remade, but we are lucky that didnt use anything that was removed.

But Craka_J did use those triggers in the wc3:WoW project and now its a pain in the ass for fix it.

So he simply asked if we got the same problem as him.

But you graphics now nearly best, but i love only gameplay stuffs. :p

So bug fixes, rebalance, etc doesnt change gameplay?
I think that its has changed very much if you know whats changed.

Yeah, like the title say, i will try to get the clan up and running now, it was months ago i tried it last time but now i decided to try again since i really want that clan, and this will be the official clan for the map aswell.

Never since Dota have i had such a fun original experience with a mod, the game was pretty bugged up and crummy at first but you've really made it into something great but with 1.18 i'd like to point out...

1. Increase the Skeleton King's health
2. The Siegebeast will often go back into his hole
3. The inventory screen's corners flash
4. The Witch doctor now has an empty ability space, you could use this for dispatch now
5. To use globes you need to have an inventory space open
6. Shields don't work as you'd probally hope, atleast while playing the WD and Wizard i had to use it as main weapon
7. Lampreys do a pretty unfair amount of damage.
8. The tooltip for spectral blades seems odd, it's wording is as it's a toggle ability, i think it's taken from searing arrows
9. Could you please spectral blades back to being an arc dmg plx?
10. Shadow Creature has no attack noise
11. Many items lean half-way through the world

Nice map, mon. Can't wait to see the next version. As said, this project is becoming much more Professional :grin:. Though I can't wait to see D3 release. Keep up the good work.

If no one has said it before I think I know 2 reasons of why the game crashes now.

1) the map uses gamecaches right? Blizzards BJ functions for gamecaches are broken in the new patch, thus may screw that up. So that is a suffering GUI part

2) the map is protected. As of the new patch news thread Poot provides a link of why you should avoid vexorians map optimiser at the moment. http://www.wc3c.net/showpost.php?p=1097351&postcount=92

Further more, bnet now supports 8mb maps, which is kind of the only positive right now considering all the newly discovered bugs.
