Hm I guess it's because it takes the editor some time to actually remove a unit.
You could try exporting unit data from a new map, and then import it to your map.
That should overwrite all custom units I think.

My map have at least 200 custom unit(don know come from where) , i import 1 unit to replacing them than delete that one unit . I have already done remove them . Thx
