First off, I'm new to the hive, so Hi ;p

Alright, so I just got back into WC3 again and decided to make a map. I'm really going to try hard on this map, and it's a survival horror-ish kind of thing. But I can't figure out how to make it really dark. I played a sniper map one time (with the real scopes) where you could choose to make the map extremely dark, and you could only see where there were torches and it had great lighting and stuff like that. Does anybody know how to do that?

Thanks.

Thanks, but how exactly do I do that? Can you give me quick instructions? (yes I know I'm horrible at making maps, but I hope making this will help me learn a lot)

Cinematic - Apply a filter over 0.00 seconds using Normal blending on texture Black Mask, starting with color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%) and 50.00% transparency and ending with color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%) and 50.00% transparency

This is your action
modify Transparencies as you want (make both same)
Low Transparency = darker screen

(its under Cinematic - Advanced Filter)

Edit: Just kidding... it works and it's really nice, but I still can't get the glow thing around the torches and lamps... sorry for all the trouble ;p
