Dark Environment?

Omit light. In >Scenario >Map Options you can set the Light Environment, which is basically a set of models containing lights and which get passed to the SetDayNightModels function at map init to be displayed globally.

You can select a standard Light Environment and edit the models or make new ones and call SetDayNightModels yourself.

I think he totally have no idea how to do it.

Here grab the attached files on this post. Remove the war3mapImported and use this action

  • Custom script: call SetDayNightModels( "DNCAshenValeTerrain.mdx", "DNCAshenValeUnit.mdx" )

I dunno. This is how I make dark environments. Here's a nice sample if you need a reference of how it looks before using the files.

I don't see a reason why you wouldn't use it when both files are just 1kb.
