the model looks good and the animation is nice but it would be much more useful if it would even toss other units in the air.
For this it would also need a birth and death animation.
you can get the effect by copying the ingame cyclone model( there should be a helper with an attachment point) and then give the helper the same animation that the cyclone has(+ maybe some rotating)
Merely a recolored blademaster whirlwind. This is too perfect looking to be a cyclone. It should be pulsating and changing. You should make it look more like the ingame cyclone. In fact, we should just use the ingame cyclone.
-EDIT: Ok, I may have been a bit harsh.
Some ways you can improve this:
-Add some particles. You can use textures\GenericGlowX_Mod2.blp or a darkened textures\Leaf4x4.blp
-Give it a birth and a death. This can be achieved with some cleverly placed particles.
Well, I didn't have to try it in game but I was thinking. Is there any way to make the usual tornado spell use either this or the standard model at the the same time? I mean like there is a 50-50 chance to use this or the original. I thought about modifying the spell of the druid to do nothing and then with some trigger call either a buff with tjis model or the previous buff. However, I suspect that this will require some variables and I have no idea how to use them.
Anyone can help? I hope I am being clear as to what I want this to be like.
