Custom Campaign Editor Problems

Hello everyone

I have a problem with my own Custom Campaign in the world Editor. The newest version

When I try to Open my Campaign with the Campaign Editor it does not want to open at all, nothing is happening.

What I have tryed:

- I have tested this on other campaigns and I can load them in the Campaign Editor.

- I have tried to use the quenching mod to open the Campaign, It will not open.

- I have reinstalled Wc3 Reforged


It worked all fine some hours ago, I was making a cutscene, saving the progress, turned off my pc. When I returned, the editor had reset itself I think. (first time you use the editor you hear the "ready to work sound")

I hope anyone can help me, Been working on this for 2 1/2 years and don't want to see it all to waste.

Did you hard reset your computer?
What assets are you using, the quenching mod as basis?
Did you change the map name? Did you change the backup folders? Did you even save backups? (Please don't say no xD)

Not tryed hard reset yet + Will see if it works on a other computer.
Only Quenching mod
I did not change anything with name of folders before this happende. I have a old backup, but it is atleast 2 months behind in progress.

  • a hard reset, did not work
  • Reinstall Quenching mod, did not work

Got the same problems...

My Campaign is too big to be downloaded on hive it seems, but if you want to look at it let me know.

If I can't solve this problem I will have to stop making the Campaign.

Did you try opening singular maps of said campaign, or send me one per pm?

It wont open at all, Here is what I do.

  • Open Editor
  • Open Campaign Editor
  • Open Campaign and I choose my Campaign
  • It's like the Editor doesn't register my Campaign and so fails to open.

My Campaign is too big to upload as a file here, but could send it via a E-mail.

I don't know if hvis can help.

If I try to open it when the Editor is open, it will not respond to the file.

If you want to look at the Campaign file itself, let me know.

you implemented custom ui stuff, like relocation of the commandbar - made possible with the integration of LUA?
Can't help much then, but you might try calling for someone more proficient.
