Are you using the mouse? If so, then I must tell you, it's nearly impossible to draw something good. Take my advice and draw it on paper like Amargaard. It's easy to scan it later.

That's what I use too. Then I'd advise you to use the enlarge tool. and take your time. Something as shitty as mine took me an hour. Also, use photo reference.
