[Spell] Creating a projectile

Hey,
I want to create a spell that shoots a projectile (imported model,arrow/rocket/whatever) in a targeted direction. Pretty similar to DotA's Mirana,Puck,Pudge and so on. It should deal damage to the unit it hits (and destroy itself obviously). There is no similar spell like that in wc3 that I can base on (edit) AFAIK.
I would be grateful for any useful information. Ty in advance.
