Map Info


First person shooter 6vs6 with 7 heros to choose from and 90+ unique abilities. Walk around in an immersive 3D environment as well as kill neutrals and enemies with a vengeance for blood.
Use the arrow keys (including the backarrow key to step backwards) to move in your 3D environment.
If, for any reason, you cannot view the hero picker board, simply type "-debug dialogue", and pick a hero.

Features


-Customize the weather and sky of your playing arena.
-Use scope to view a 3D fade filter of a scope aimer (not available in this version).
-View the game from 5 different angles, including first person, third person, and more...!
-A white fadeout has been added to low health screens, indicating exhaustion (not available in this version).
-All offensive spells/ guns create blood if hit accurately.
-Headshots and criticals are implemented. (They are based on left and right aiming).
-In addition, coins / hero inventory have been added as well as a role-playing wc3 element and neutral creeps (can be toggled on or off).
-A scoreboard keeps track of hero kills/ deaths/ coins collected. The first team with 100+ hero kills wins.
-Type -observer to enter observer mode. Once you become an observer, playing the game becomes off limits.

Weather commands and music commands are available IN-game. Choose from a variety of wc3 music as well as up to 15 different weather commands.

Comment: There's no in-game map description and no description of the map on the loading screen either.
The item carrier can build NE buildings, there's a barracks for no reason, missing disabled icons, spells don't have fitting icons (example Black magic: Human Castle?).
Also the terrain is very empty and flat.
The preview image's quality isn't that great either to attract users.
Your character can also still move around while dead and remove missing players from the multiboard.
And add more fitting CS models.

Just wondering, where is the feedback? Can you please just reject it already (mods, please) if you can't approve. What's up with this being the oldest map on pending without any other comments and still going? Sorry for sounding a bit rude.

Excellent question, your majesty.

I gave one of the heroes a levitate ability, meaning no type of pathing blocker would block his movement (Shh, hell, he could levitate off the edge into the dark zone).... All the heroes have some type of ranged ability, so it shouldn't affect gameplay. And another hero has a 3D instant-cast version of blink...

The other reason is + delay, of course :), and the different music for each map...

1) Remove music.. use alot of size and half of us listen to music while gaming.

2) Delay? You might got leaks. Check that here.

3) You got different spells in each map? why.? you can make options for that aswell.

1) There is an option to turn off the music in-game and the un-optimized trigger file size is ~3 mb. So the optimized music file only makes up like ~35% of the map size. That being said, I do see your point, but I wanted to add CS- like (first person shooting style) music in the game. The other wc3 music doesn't really affect the file size. If you want, I can make a smaller, no-music map when I get more requests.

2) I've tried that :). T-r-i-e-d. I add custom scripts to, before and after each position variable. Maybe it Decreased Delay in other fields, but Afaik, it makes casting spells (Without cooldowns) have more delay when you spam it. This is unacceptable for a 3D shooter. There is no way I will ever add leak removal systems to no cd custom spells in-game. I have added leak removal systems to other aspects of the game, though. Honestly, though, azeroth grand prix has wayyy more delay than this map (try it in single player if you don't believe me). For a 3D shooter, delay is one of the most important elements...

3) Levitate = teleporting through different arenas. I just can't let that happen? It does have a landing range though, but then I'll have to make the map even bigger?

4) Why won't icefrog make different arenas for dota? Doesn't it get repetitive? Why isn't Dota Outland and Dota Allstars on the same map? Maybe there just isn't an answer...? :)

Again sorry for the first comment, I got really carried away...

1) Feel what you want.

2) Delay is the worst thing in a shooting game..

3) You can make the arena's away from each others. And make it unpassable with the shadow.

4) Dota's map size is full, and another arena can't be made. He could make options to change from winter to summer.. but would give no reason, since dota is focused on heroes. And Outland and Allstars isnt the same.
