So yeah, my computer crashed while I was editing my map. Now it says: "main map file could not be loaded". That's the bad news. The good news is, that I still have a working version of the map, that's protected with "wc3mapoptimizer". Is there a way to unprotect it or to restore my crashed map another way??

ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP!
I think it's not possible. but you can always open your map with MPQ editor and find war3.j file (the triggers) and export it and import it into new map.
I'm not sure if you can export object settings too, but give it a try

were you using jngp? it automatically saves backups.

you can always try using MPQ editor and finding which files are corrupted by transferring deh filess
