[General] Comprehensive UI for buying Abilities

I'm about to craft a system where you can buy any ability for your hero, similar to many projects that have already been made.

I always did this through the shop. Simply having a sold item representing each ability available.

But I was wondering if there is a better way. I noticed some maps have ability icons in the UI which seems like a new thing in reforged? Or perhaps having abilities placed as images or units in the map, where you can click them and see a description of what they do or something. I don't know how to make images clickable though.

I'm open to all ideas <3
