I'm running into a problem with a combined unit (based off the Archer, Hippogriff and Hippogriff Rider).
One of the basic units has mana, and the combined unit has the same total amount of mana. But the combined unit has mana according to what the object editor gives as starting mana, instead of how much mana the original unit had (e.g. archer can be at 0, 100 or 200 mana but combining will have the rider at 100 mana or whatever the object editor lists as starting mana). Similarly, separating the units returns the mana to starting values (so the rider could be at 0 mana, and dismounting gives the archer 100 mana instantly).
I suppose I could have the combining cost all the unit's mana as a workaround, but is there a triggerless way to keep the original amount of mana on the combined/separated unit, in the same way that combining damaged units will result in the new units also being damaged?
