cinematic help

I've tried and tried to make cinematics but I just cant get them to work. I've looked all over for tutorials for them but I cant seem to find any. I'm probly just not looking in the right places but if anyone knows of some good tutorial for complete noobs then that would be greatly appreciated

What is it that doesn't work? The base idea of making an cinematic is quite simple really and shouldn't cause any trouble getting it to work.
