Remember that "Sorrow" theme also includes sad "Historic Events".

For example, 300 movie is sad in the end because they died.

Why not allow user to choose either Sad/Sorrow theme or Historical theme instead of restrain them into 1?

It needs to be one theme only. I would like the contest to start since this poll will get perhaps one or two votes in the next 5 days, and those votes most probably won't be from any of the possible participants.

For example, 300 movie is sad in the end because they died.

That's just one part. The whole movie could not be classified as "Tragedy". A good historic cinematic has more than just sorrow elements to it.

If Historic is chosen then I doubt many will focus on making it "Sad"

Indeed, what you say is true. You can make historic event since most of them did end by the death of the main character. Ofcourse you can't let's say make Hitlers death or so since that wasn't sad, however I'm sure Caesars death was both tragical and sad dunno there are a lot of them out there.

It's not exactly the theme thus I'm sure you could loose a couple of points there but still.

And remember that "Historic Events" can also include a "Sorrow" theme. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just saying this is a bad argument.
