Chat Box to the right bottom corner

You could chat with that. You'd have list of friends / contacts on the very right side of the screen and by pressing one of those names would open up a chat box with that user. On 1000px wide or smaller pages the list of contacts would be minimized by default. You can choose to be away so you couldn't see when others have messaged you something.

There are a few people who don't go to chat, it would be cool if this feature was implemented.

It's basically the current chat room, but more instant.

I don't go to the hive to be a social guy so I don't care. But I honesty think that our current chat system is rather stupid. Why would I want to keep track on yet another tab to chat.

So I know we're gonna transfer to XenForo in pretty soon (999999999999999999 years)

Just cut out the Fbook and Gtalk and video chat and it's good to go

The existing chat. I will eventually build a XF specfic one but I won't delay Hive 2 for that.
