This is a short, simple map I made using @redscores RBB System. It's meant to be a simple map to make a few fellow friends pay for messing my front door. Don't expect complicated things here, just good old fashion turn battle that needs teamwork to win.

(They are destroying my house's ventilation systems by the way)

GAMEPLAY
You need all 5 heroes to finish this game. Some are more support oriented and others are combat oriented.

Just be aware, this game is quite unforgiving in case of decision mistakes. Yeah, they pissed me off anyway, so they should have some wonderful time... getting kicked around.

Voting for Direct-ive cut! 6/5 Such splendid concept and Idea.

the game has an interesting concept and a simple enough combat system, but feels like missing something.
Yes, however I also wasn't able to pinpoint what is it that missing.

Edit: Forgot to mention, the musics are kinda overlapping onto each other. Needs fix!

P.S. In the future do you plan to make a single player version, where one can control all five characters to fight Daffa?

I tried this with my friends, full party :p
I expected a good game but somethings didn't turn quite right...

Critics aside, this is a map with a good idea and I see great potentials :D

There are, in Hive description. Yet to be in-game.
Terrain is a little bit... messy? The grass trims doesn't look logical as it is supposed to be trimmed with a design, sunken ruin trees and just plain grass also doesn't make it an interesting view (You can use combinations of Ashenvale grasses). Maybe more trees, shrubs or rocks in the forest.
I don't do the terrain. I directly took it from @redscores test map, to be honest.

I love the idea of using the RBB, however it was quite boring when its not your turn because you can't chat or do anything, not even able to look at the units' healthbars. One guy went AFK and the others left without any notifications...
Yeah, I have thought about AFK. It's quite difficult to deal with however. I'll do something if I can for the chat.

The weather effect is too spammy with that certain angle of view, never tried the second camera though.
I have no alternative for now, maybe I'll figure something else out.

Perhaps you can add linear fogs or a sky to fill up the blank areas behind the trees. Random weathers could be awesome as well.

You might also want to add a damage indicator and how much health left a unit has after an attack was launched.
Want to have the health bar on by default? Damage indicators... I guess I can use floating texts or something.

I will do these critics as soon as possible, if I get motivated that is.

Hmm, if you're idle enough, maybe add an intro cinematic showing SCN screaming "Daffa Daffa Daffa Daffa..." to you? And show us vandalizing your front door (or gate)?
That's quite an amount of work. I'll keep that if I can get REALLY motivated.

EDIT :
Change Misc/Others into Mini-Game, now there goes away our category problems :)
 
A heads up. I have added difficulty system for the next version (and yeah having a hard time defeating the hardest difficulty). I also added more spells to player's reportaire to help them squeeze up the harder difficulties.

And yeah, you'll hate the highest difficulty once you see the BS damage the enemy dealt in one turn.

Just need to finish score system and this thing is ready for moderation :)

In regards to health bar, I won't change that one. It gives the 'danger' feels.
I also am lazy, so terrain stays for now :)

Ehh, by the way... a bug if i'm right:

P.S. I've noticed variety in character stats and abilities, cool!

But ofc mine is the coolest! I can do both Fire and Area Heal at the same time, yay! I have a bit more health than patrick and I have lots of mana too! ;)
 
Patrick has a bunch more mana.

I have modified the roles accordingly in the next update. Patrick will be the sole 'area heal' user while two others act as singular healers. It's not always best to rely on area heal, as sometimes it does more harm than good.

I also changed the text bug @Directive255 mentioned.

These are already set. As I said before, only score system remains.

How about giving a "mana heal" to one of the characters? Right now the only way to replenish your mana is to have yourself killed then get revived.

And enemy's health regenerates in the background before I do any action. Is this a bug, or was this intentional to discourage wasting time?
And how about regenerating mana over time, or Siphon/Transfer Mana?

1. Please avoid playing music through the sound channel and use the music channel (eg: use the other Play Music trigger).
2. Would be nice to see more camera shots than that static one.
3. Even the archer (Sylvanas) attacks from a melee range.
4. I suggest more challenges/battles. The idea is really nice but you have to make it longer with diversity.

1. Will do. It's actually the system's part. I thought I could leave that be, but seems not (and it got Spell Section approval AFAIR).
2. It's not that cooperative with gameplay (btw, there's a second camera). If I were to make camera more dynamic, abilities needs more of an actual display. Well, that will not change a lot in flavor context. More lost than gain IMO.
3. Welp, forgot that it suppose to be ranged. I must be lazy there to just copy paste it out. Archer was a Paladin btw.
4. Challenges might do, for battles... have you try it at least twice? The unit poll that guard the boss is mix and match to give some diversity and additional gameplay difficulty at random.

Actually, I see the same enemy units appearing, either more of a type or less.
You could use other Hive members as bosses with their own guard/entourage.

What does this mean?
The song is copyrighted, but I have asked the staff (and Ralle answered the thread of matter) if I can use the said song for the map theme. In case of copyright claims, I will quickly take down the map and update it with the default theme.
The song is used in Persona 5 by Atlus, you can find it on the second to last boss.

No wonder why two musics were playing at once...
I don't get that during my tests, so it's a surprise. Must be me being lazy though.

You could use other Hive members as bosses with their own guard/entourage.
I'll do more units for variation. And yes, some extra gifts on top of it.
I won't make more bosses unless I can wrap the messy system properly. It was a pain to get them to work in singleplayer before. And if I do make them, they get their own map instead.

^Ah, ok, my fault-- I have looked for a music, or sound system. ;) I just wanted to check why it is a problem. But wayne.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
 
Just want to share that I died when I was about to won in Merciless. Butthurt much that over 4K damage spell.

In regards to update, I have added some more events but I am still thinking of additions to make it more interesting. Actually, even passing standard by a small amount to earn approval is more than enough for this map, considering it's a just for fun joke map :)

Player buffing? NO. I have something else in mind for such things though. I think Mastermind need an extra twist.

I'll take my time working on those, won't be soon though.
