It was super effective
DAFFA is annoyed
Yes, however I also wasn't able to pinpoint what is it that missing.the game has an interesting concept and a simple enough combat system, but feels like missing something.
P.S. In the future do you plan to make a single player version, where one can control all five characters to fight Daffa?
4/5, the game has an interesting concept and a simple enough combat system, but feels like missing something.
Impossible indeed. But when we all five join forces, your house is nothing but dust. One day, yes. One day, we will. But today is not the day.
Voting for Direct-ive cut! 6/5 Such splendid concept and Idea.
Yes, however I also wasn't able to pinpoint what is it that missing.
There are, in Hive description. Yet to be in-game.Are there resource credits?
I don't do the terrain. I directly took it from @redscores test map, to be honest.Terrain is a little bit... messy? The grass trims doesn't look logical as it is supposed to be trimmed with a design, sunken ruin trees and just plain grass also doesn't make it an interesting view (You can use combinations of Ashenvale grasses). Maybe more trees, shrubs or rocks in the forest.
Yeah, I have thought about AFK. It's quite difficult to deal with however. I'll do something if I can for the chat.I love the idea of using the RBB, however it was quite boring when its not your turn because you can't chat or do anything, not even able to look at the units' healthbars. One guy went AFK and the others left without any notifications...
I have no alternative for now, maybe I'll figure something else out.The weather effect is too spammy with that certain angle of view, never tried the second camera though.
I'll consider this onePerhaps you can add linear fogs or a sky to fill up the blank areas behind the trees. Random weathers could be awesome as well.
Want to have the health bar on by default? Damage indicators... I guess I can use floating texts or something. You might also want to add a damage indicator and how much health left a unit has after an attack was launched.
Woops, I didn't see it, sorry xDThere are, in Hive description. Yet to be in-game.
Perhaps a timer that ends one's turn.Yeah, I have thought about AFK. It's quite difficult to deal with however.
Maybe fogs, maybe custom weather models?I have no alternative for now, maybe I'll figure something else out.
I had the heatlh bar on by default, it didn't show when its not my turn.Want to have the health bar on by default?
I'll add one in Quest log in the next update.Woops, I didn't see it, sorry xD
I thought of the same thing toPerhaps a timer that ends one's turn.
I want it to have magical feels, considering you're facing a MageMaybe fogs, maybe custom weather models?
I see. I'll see what I can do.I had the heatlh bar on by default, it didn't show when its not my turn.
And yes a health bar floating text above a unit could be good enough.
That's quite an amount of work. I'll keep that if I can get REALLY motivated.Hmm, if you're idle enough, maybe add an intro cinematic showing SCN screaming "Daffa Daffa Daffa Daffa..." to you? And show us vandalizing your front door (or gate)?
Actually, I see the same enemy units appearing, either more of a type or less.4. Challenges might do, for battles... have you try it at least twice? The unit poll that guard the boss is mix and match to give some diversity and additional gameplay difficulty at random.
DISCLAIMER : I have Ralle's permission to use resources at Staff Contact unless Atlus made a copyright claim over the map.
1. Please avoid playing music through the sound channel and use the music channel (eg: use the other Play Music trigger).
1. Will do. It's actually the system's part. I thought I could leave that be, but seems not (and it got Spell Section approval AFAIR).
4. I suggest more challenges/battles. The idea is really nice but you have to make it longer with diversity.
3. Welp, forgot that it suppose to be ranged. I must be lazy there to just copy paste it out. Archer was a Paladin btw.
The song is copyrighted, but I have asked the staff (and Ralle answered the thread of matter) if I can use the said song for the map theme. In case of copyright claims, I will quickly take down the map and update it with the default theme. What does this mean?
I don't get that during my tests, so it's a surprise. Must be me being lazy though. No wonder why two musics were playing at once...
I am, and I am not proud of it.You lazy mage
I'll do more units for variation. And yes, some extra gifts on top of it.Actually, I see the same enemy units appearing, either more of a type or less.
You could use other Hive members as bosses with their own guard/entourage.
I apologize for the inconvenience.^Ah, ok, my fault-- I have looked for a music, or sound system. I just wanted to check why it is a problem. But wayne.
Variation eh? Might slip an entire buff system along then.Hmm, maybe Daffa cast a spell of blizzard and snowstorm?
2. How about Daffa engulfing the entire battlefield with Faiya, I mean, fire?
3. Daffa could also resurrect one of his fallen minions...
Perhaps also a chance for events about player characters? Like a boost to a Player's power? Or maybe after casting a spell, a slim chance for allied minions for players to appear?
I think being this kind of Death Knight in the game is way more appropriate and cooler than before ^^
Make me a Caster Death Knight plz...
Also if you have time, I wish to have some fancy spells inspired from Warcraft II. You can look at this for inspiration and ideas : Warcraft II Death Knight
Spell suggestions :
1. Unholy Armor -- takes out half of a unit's current health to make it invulnerable for three rounds. Can be used on myself.
2. Death Coil -- AoE lifesteal spell, every enemy within gets damaged equally ===OR=== Targets a few specific enemies, restores caster health as much as the damage dealt.
3. Haste -- either allows the affected ally to take two actions on a turn for three turns, or double their attacks next round.
4. Death and Decay -- Powerful AoE spell
