[Crash] Campaign Map refuse to load.

Hi, i am working on a campaign and i was trying to test a map. So i opened WC3, opened Campaign and loaded the map. But it didnt even load. It just went black and the game crashed! What happened?

I suppose it could be lots of things. What were you working on before this happened? Do you have old versions that don't crash?

Is it possible you imported some corrupted files recently?

Nope. It was working fine. No corrupted files. Yes.. i do have a version that doesnt crash. I was working on campaign obj data last and terraining. Then it didnt even load the loading screen before crashing.

Shall i send you a copy in private message and try to find the problem fur me?

What does the error says?

Also try removing the map you edited from the campaign. If it resolves then fix that map.

I'm sure it's a code error specialy if it's JASS.

It was Jass... So it might be the problem...

If you imported a vjass system, that's the problem. vjass cannot be used in campaigns.

Or well it can, but you have to save it in a special way.

One chapter can't be bigger than 8 mb either.

My last guess is that the name is too long. If the campaign is "Shadows of Darkness" rename it SoD

So... how do i know if it is a vjass system? Can i convert it into Jass?

You can convert it, but it's really messy. I don't suggest doing that.

vjass always contains a library or a struct (or well, 90% of the time).
Better look up the threads where you downloaded them, it should state if it's jass or vjass.
