They definately won't put in an editor. None of the Cods had an editor so far, why would they break the chain for this one?

Try to be better than CoD4? Better support for multiplayer, maps, mods?

Would be fun if anyone could just make a map without having to understand those shit mod editors people make for them, I don't get shit of those with they're X Y bladiebla stories.

I don't think im not going to play CoD5, unless if it has some mayor changes i will but i don't see the point in playing the 237846st WW2 shooter coming out. I might sound cliche but for example, brothers in arms is a WW2 shooter, but its brutal gore shots when you throw grenades is sure worth a few laughs.. those things can make me buy it... if things like that will be in CoD5... otherwise no.

Fuck blizzard. You know all to well they can't make FPS games. Blizzard should stay to RTS games, because their RTS games kick ass.

Except that Actionvision-Blizzard is only a publisher, not a developer for that game...

It's like Sierra and Valve on Hl1.

But, I seriously want a game where you can play another faction than the Allied/British.

It was the russians and germans who took the highest beatings, doesn't they deserve any game? (Yes, I know Red orchestra exists, but it's online).

The game features two campaigns, one of them is United States battling Japanese army, but the other one is Russian army raiding Berlin, so there are Russians in this game.

But they should have put an axis campaign in it too.

Far cry 2 > CoD 5

More importantly

Gears of war 2 > Far cry 2 > CoD 5

But seriously, the CoD 5 map editor cannot possibly compete with what Far cry 2 has. Its some pretty fucking amazing shit.
Comparing different genres doesn't work too well. In saying that, LBP>GeoW2>FC2>CoD5. User creation wins. I can't see this game fairing as well online as CoD 4 did. Tanks will ruin everything, and the levels in CoD 4 look much better to me. Not to mention, WW2 became boring ages ago.

I'd hate to start arguing again, but why are people so into the COD games? there so boring, play COD 4, play the first mission and compare the beginning mission and the couple of last missions. THERE ALL THE SAME THING...theirs an enemy, aim down sights, shoot, theirs another enemy, aim down sights and shoot. what the hell? My brother puts it this way, its one dimensional, the gameplay never changes at all, atleast in crysis you had suit powers, ya know?

the reason why im addicted to CoD is because of its realism, and the way it captures war in a TV. Theres quite a few differences, look. In the first mission, ur a PoW liberated by your marine brothers, then u pretty much blow this shit outta the japs. Next mission youre fighting in trenches (god...playing hardened on that shit...) and calling in airstrike on bunkers, flaming people trapped in bunkers, and killing people that are charging you and yelling banzai.
Like 3 acts later, you switch to the Red Army. You can actually drive a tank and blow up tiger tanks.
In another Red Army mission, you have to blow up tiger tanks by shooting them with a missile launcher
On your way to berlin, you do violent building to building stormings (so friggin bloody)
so yah. it isnt one dimensional.

Sounds to me like CoD caught up with all the other games. There's nothing innovative here, and WW is just done. There should be a law against making more WW games.

it was? halo doesnt have walling, gears of war 2 doesnt have walling, but then again, most of its cover is a huge block of steel.
i dont think medal of honor has it. ive never played CS before, so dunno bout that.

the last russian mission i played was the one where they were fighting in the sewers and got swept away by water.

Counter Strike has it, and it's pretty old. This isn't anything new, that was my point.

The russian missions were awesome for the first two minutes, when it was about sniping ala Ghillies in the mist. Then it started to suck, and then the last mission was pretty good.

Honestly, this game is incredibly disrepectful to the actual war, and there are about two awesome moments in the entire game.
