Call of Duty 6 in the making

UK, September 16, 2008 - Activision has confirmed that Infinity Ward will be returning to the Call of Duty franchise, and will be behind the sixth instalment that's due for release in 2009.

Call of Duty is currently in the hands of Treyarch, who previously worked on the third game and are taking the first person shooter back to WWII with the forthcoming World at War. There's still no news on where the next game will be set, and though Infinity Ward is thought to be at work on a futuristic science fiction shooter, it's more likely that this is the touted new IP for the company rather than the introduction of ray guns to the series.

I can't wait for CoD 6, which is set to be released in the "holiday season" of 2009. Personally, I think CoD 5 was not that good, since Treyarch just took the same game engine from CoD 4 and changed the setting of the game, but I think Infinity Ward will do a great job on CoD 6 as they did with CoD 2 and 4.

Oh. I like CoD, but I thought that teaser was awful. I didn't get to see shit all. I guess I just hate teasers in general. The SC2 announcement trailer was lame as well.

well, you saw alot of bullets flying at you, like 2-3 helicopters, an elevator, a bunch of people at a convention/party/meeting/club and like abunch of guys about to kill em all. and one of them said either remember...for russia or remember...no rushing, or something like that. but no aliens.

Plus theres like what 4-5 expansions just for the PC.

I personally hated CoD 4 it was so stupid they should have stuck to world war 2 hell if they should make a 6 it should be CoD 6: War Revisited or something.
Why i hate CoD 4? Stupid ass story and the missions are fucking stupid and impossible on any difficulty...If i were to choose from CoD 4 or 1,2,or 3,or 5 but i already have it. I would choose between 2 or 3. For me CoD 4 is a fail...but god damn it'd be interesting if we got future warfare...

It just didn't make any sense to me...tbh though the online is good. NOOO it's not because i suck it's because i don't play the cod series that much i don't practice i just played cod 2 and 3 and some of 4 and i got 5 in january and i don't play that much...
