I just had a Northerend map open, opened this afterwards and all water and existing cliffs are messed up now....

Im using regular, vanilla 1.30 World Editor. Whenever I place new cliffs now, the right clifftype does pop up, but the water is still Northerend.

Saving/loading/opening/closing the map does fix the water, doesnt fix the cliff issue.

Do bugs like this happen more frequently, or am I the only one?

If the map was done in an older version of WC3, it explains the bug. the patch 1.30 seems that changed the textures paths. It happened me when I was working with a minigame made in 1.30 and whenit was opened in JNGP (1.27) it changed some textures

This can happen when you place a cliff type next to another cliff type, it will replace/over ride the existing cliffs you placed. If you have an older copy, go back to that, other wise if you're in the same instance where that happened, you better get to CTRL + Z'ing.
