You could add some more circular lines into the icon, like there are on the model, to imitate the ground pulsing and distortions caused by the shockwave. Also reducing blurry endings of shockwave into something that would interact with background more may be beneficial for overall feeling. It conveys the desired effect in current state as well, but try to add some of mentioned changes to make it stand out more.
