Blizzard Sports Mapping Contest

Blizzard have launched a new mapping contest. You have to make a map based on a popular sport. Here is what they said:

A while back, we gave you the chance to work with the Warcraft III World Editor in our last mapmaking contest. We received many incredible maps, so it seemed only fair to hold another mapmaking contest to give you another opportunity to compete with your fellow map creators. Your new mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to take any kind of professional sport (no Tetherball maps, sorry!) and turn it into a fun and exciting Warcraft III map using the Warcraft III World Editor. We’ll be offering cool hardware and software prizes to the top three submissions.

The Contest shall commence on June 1, 2006 and shall continue in duration until July 16, 2006 (the "Deadline"). All entries must be received by the Deadline to be eligible to win a prize.

I made a horse racing map a while back.

operator, I do not think that a boxing map would do very well, mostly because of the fact all you have to do is make a few peices of terrain and put in two units to have a boxing match. Deckboy, since when was that an official sport? . And The_Taxidermist you can't enter that map anyway

Well, I was thinking of this:

*12 players

*Each one chooses they're ''hero''

*There are 6 arenas

*two and two players figth

*You figth in 1. person. Using keypads to move and A S D to figth.

So it's mainly a tuornament

ASD? then you have to make an ability for each button so A releases an ability which can start a trigger. but souinds interesting

mabey you should use arrows instead, at least they can be triggered.

*off topic* u said use an ability, im not so great with abilities, what ones are good to use as blanks (obviously you copy them right?) for this, ie abilities that do nothing.
