My signature is actually mature, a large percentage of this place needs to grow up. Yes, I understand the game is for kids, but you do not have to have the mentality of one. The ones causing problems are ones that are almost legally adults.

It's more the 'eff you' part that I was referring to.

I think that Wc3c.net has a lot better reputation and history of posting constructive reviews and feedback for maps, models, skins etc where as the hive has a lot of spam like '5/5 awesome!!' or 'this model is not very good' which is annoying because it does nothing to help the creator except give them a bump maybe.

So in that sense, I think the hive is immature, but putting 'fuck you hive' in your sig is immature.

Edit: this is way off-topic but... this whole thread is mostly, so w/e!

@Dragonson, where do you live in Europe? are you getting paid vacation?? I've heard that some places like France give a whole month paid vacation... for everyone!! that's nuts.

Offtopic, finally installed photoshop 7 AGAIN (256MB RAM wasn't enough for CS5) with ahemgooglekeyahem. Time to do some image pranks.

Sigh... Guys, the topic of maturity/immaturity is something that is quite hard to discuss.
Believe me, there are seven opinions for every four people.
I'l just post one of mine here, even though you might say it immature to continue a discussion that i should maybe just end.

Mid, there is in my opinion ONE REASON that your sig doesnt seem very mature:
It's main function is insulting people. Say what you want, that's what it does.
Now, i've NEVER had anything good or constructive come from insulting people.
If you want them to change then you should give them a chance and arm yourself with patience.
Now if you dont WANT to be constructive, then what's the reason for your sig in the first place?
As soon as you say 'i just want them to know that i hate them' (or something along those lines) then you're already knee deep in their territory.
So, mature or not, your sig is kinda misplaced.

Now, unless someone's got a really good and well thought-through argument to what i have just said, then i'd prefer as few posts on this issue as possible.
Ofcourse, you might say that going 'THE LAST WORD IN THIS DISCUSSION IS MIIIIHNE! MIIIIIIIIIHNE!' (which is technically what i'm doing) is immature, but then again you can say alot of things.

I have no well-thought out counter-argument, so I'll leave it by saying I agree with a lot of what you said. And... What country do you live in?? I'm curious to know if your vacation time is paid by the government or not, if it's like some socialism thing. I think I heard France gives like an automatic one month paid vacation... that's crazy.

Mid, no matter how many people you convince to change, there will always be that group of people that can't comprehend and are hard-headed. I know of this problem on the Hive, and yes, it has annoyed me too.

Just like what Dragonson said; provoking spammers and THW users won't help the problem. So just suck it up and deal with it unless you can do something revolutionary on the Hive that will change it forever.

Sooo, that's my opinion. So if the ratio of opinions to people is 7:4; that means I have 3.5 opinions? I'm as *almost as huge as two people.

Back to topic: Let's hope this problem with Photoshop won't hinder it for too long.

Nah, i usually make my sigs in 1-2 days. Sometimes more, depending on the complexity of the task.
Then again, 'usually' is a dead term here.

So.. that answers half the question, but the real question was is the government paying for your vacation? I have no idea what kind of a government Denmark has, I just assume all you Europeans are socialists >< my bad if your Denmark isn't.

Paid vacation is.. exactly how it sounds. You go on vacation (time off from work) but you are still paid your regular wages for the time off.

Its normally only given for injuries, or if you signed an agreement with ur employer that states you are entitled to a paid vacation.

Also, what you describe there completely depends on what job you have.
If you're, FX, a school teacher then you have the same time off as the kids.
Stuff like that is usually included in the contract.
