Blizzard made you sign some form of Non disclosure agreement along with a EULA before downloading the beta.

And if not I will assume that you torrented the game and are releasing torrented files.

Either way what your doing is ILLEGAL. I don't want to see HWS get closed because you leaked copyrighted, non-public/confidential files owned by blizzard.

EDIT: Now realizing the files are on mediafire I see that HWS cant get closed. But you can still be sued for releasing these files...

Seriously? Why is that supposed to be illegal? There should be an import manager of sorts, and you can't do much with those files(at least for now) anyways, and I bet that they wont do anything to people who use BETA models\sounds\icons\etc in their maps when SC2 comes out. They didn't do it with WC3 anyways.

They have not released the galaxy editor and do you understand what CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT means? Its a simple way of stating that you won't release the files, executable or not, to anyone. And if he never signed a "CD" then he must have downloaded a pirated version. Which IS illegal.

They overwrote their NDA. I don't know if that makes it acceptable to share the files, but just throwing that out there. :p

That is true, but I don't think they will mind people spreading the music around the internet; if its getting spread, then people like it and have higher chances of buying the game. Its like music albums in a sense; many people will have a higher chance of buying an album after hearing part of/the full song/album.

Not sure, they way he words it makes it seem like only media based resources.

I said the exact thing aobut it on MSN, but it is quite annoying that they dont give a clear answer regarding this question.
BTW: I once made a thread on the sc2 b.net forums and talked about releasing stuff that is related to the MPQ files, and blizzard did not even comment, so to me it seems like they did not mind if i do share such files?
