Best Power/Epic Metal Band!

I hate people like you who come into my threads thinking they are all that and a cup of tea, when they don't even know what they're talking about, and just flame the topic. Sure, I agree that the names are a bit over-epic, but really a lot of the music is great. You just need to know what to look for.

What don't you like about it? It's hard to say an entire genre is bad without listening to it all first. Unless it's Classical, because that shit just sucks, and damn this tea is good.

Inevitably, the only one of these bands, I've ever listened to is Dragonforce (Guitar Hero, lulz) and I gotta say, I like their song. Not "songs," because they pretty much play the same song over and over again. That's what it sounds like, anyways.

It is too hard to find the best one....

And I'm not surprised that Dragonforce is the first option, Sonata Artica is the 2nd and Blind is the 3rd.... I can't say that they only "pwns", because their awesomeness is much more then one single word. And Hamerfall is cool too.

And you forgot to add Iced Earth!

And please, you have to agree that names like "Dragonforce", "Dragonland", "Iron Fire", "Steel Attack' sucks. But the music is good.

McDudes, you're all forgetting about the greatest power metal band ever concieved: Iced Earth! Plus, Demon's and Wizards (Blind Guardian and Iced Earth playing together as one band) is missing.

Because of the lack of Iced Earth I voted for Blind Guardian, my second favourite. Props to Symphony X for The Oddessy though, 35 minutes of EPIC WIN. Though, I honestly do prefer the 15 Minute epic Dante's Inferno by Iced Earth

MSBB, it's all pretty epic stuff. And Dragonforce is probably the worst offering.

Through Fire and Flames is a "meh" quality song, and since all of their music is exactly the same, so is the rest of their music by default!

Plus they suck ass live.
