Base Wars BETA Testing
Gameplay/ Objectives
Player Bases
The aim of Base Wars is to capture all six of the player bases.
These are the Player Bases;


Creep Bases
There are also two bases owned by Creeps. These don't have to be captured, they are optional. They have more gold and more lumber than the player bases.
These are the Creep Bases;


The Units
To capture a Base, you need units. Units are trained from buildings (see later on).
These are all the units;
- Peasants, these are your general workers who will gather gold and lumber. They will also build structures. (see later on.)
- Chaos warriors, these are the equivalent to footmen. They are good defenders.
- Gunners, these are like Riflemen, medium range and a good attack.
- Archers, similar to Gunners, they have a longer range, but less attack.
- Huntress', they have short range, but good attack.
- Phoenix Crusaders, similar to Knights, they have very good attack but use a lot of food.
- Healers, they can heal wounded units, but have no attack.
- Cannon Team, similar to Mortar Teams, very long range, but vulnerable.
- Tanks, similar to Siege Engines, good armour and attack but slow attack speed.
- Dragon Turtle, great defence, slow attack, but expensive.
- Berserk Wildkin, these are the best unit in the game, good defence, great attack, but very expensive.
- Heroes, they can level up, and gain resources in their own way. (see later on.)
- Money Sheep, they give you money!
- Woody Sheep, they give you wood!
- There are also two small red dragons that can be bought from a shop.


The Buildings
To train units, you need to build buildings. Only Peasants can build them.
These are the Buildings;
- Town Castle, can train peasants and serves as a drop off point for lumber and gold.
- Farm, raises the food limit by 20. Can also train money and woody sheep (refer to above). Farms, can also heal wounded units.
- Altar of Kings, trains and revives heroes.
- Barracks, trains; Chaos warriors, Gunners, Phoenix Crusaders and healers.
- Hunter's Hall, trains; Archers, Huntress', Dragon Turtles and Berserk Wildkins.
- Workshop, trains and has upgrades for; Cannon Teams and Tanks.
- Blacksmith, contains upgrades for units
- Lumber Mill, serves as a drop off point for lumber. It has an upgrade for lumber harvesting.
- Guard Tower, can't be built but they are at every base.


The Heroes
The Heroes can play a very big part, or none at all.
There are Four Heroes:
-Arthas
-Phoenix Guard
-Pandaren
-White Druid

The Heroes have a unique role to play in the game.
There is the Bounty Pit.
This is where Gold Coins and Bundles of Lumber will spawn.
You can collect them with your Heroes.

There is the Level Up Pit.
If your Hero is in here, then the will gain EXP and level up.

There is the Creep Pit.
Ths contains Creeps, that you can attack to gain more gold.
There is also a shop in there that sell Small Red Dragons.
Tip: Only high level Heroes should attempt to kill the Creeps.

Abomination
This is an abomination unit that will spawn outside of every base, walks in and attacks.
This will only happen if the host has chosen the option.
If it is selected a countdown timer will apear for about 45 minutes, then the Abomination will come.
The Abominations have a lot of hit points, but very, very weak attack.
Apon death, the Abominations, will explode, damaging everything in its way.
