Barrage Ability

I was trying to tweak the barrage ability so that a unit can be upgraded to fire at 2 and only 2 targets, however no matter whether the "maximum amount of targets" in the barrage ability is set to 1 or 2, the unit sometimes fires at three different enemies at the same time.... does anyone know how exactly do I make it so that it only shoots at 2 enemies simultaneous?

barrage is a bit counter-intuitive in that regard: the "maximum amount of targets" field actually means "additional targets hit".

So if you want it to only hit 2 targets, set it to 1.

I set it to 1 and basically the units still attacks 3 enemies at the once from time to time...

It alternates between shooting 2 and 3 targets simultaneously

You could use my custom Multishot if you want. It can even shoot at 1 enemy if you configure it to do so. And you can also configure that enemy NOT to be your target (optional)

AFAIK someone ran into a similar issue many years ago.
We concluded that barrage only seems to work properly when the targets are set to an odd number.

I've actually guess about this that the missile damage will correspond with the maximum damage dealt, meaning you can put the number of targets sky high and change those damage dealt values it can limit things.
