Well I experimented with those lovely bank stores.
They actually allow us to store a lot of information in a local persistent xml file, which will be stored in path/to/starcraft2 documents/Banks/<Bank Name>.SC2Bank
This allows us to retrieve and edit these banks from every single map.
Now that edit part is in one way nice and in the other way quite baaad, since every map is able to overwrite them.
I wonder if Blizzard has some plans to change that in some way.
Anyways, despite that little problem one could believe in people and use them in a just lovely way.
For example one could remember those looong savecodes from WC3 maps.(Especially RPGs)
