Hello guys, I just felt like getting a comment or two on the background story for the campaign which I and HorizonTal are working on at the moment.
"In the beginning, neither god nor god's creator existed, but with his great will, he, who shaped all shaped himself. Even he, who controlled all, which was none, lost his will to live his life the way he currently lived it, and created those that we would come to call the gods. Little did they know, they would each shape 1/4 of world which one day would rise. The gods we're called Araga, Asayer, Emzerra and Xeal-an. After being ruled by their creator for an eternity, they too wanted to rule, together they shaped the world, Araga created the light and gave life to all races who one day inhabit the world. Asayer created darkness, so that half of the day, Araga could rest his powers and be ready for the next sunrise, he also rules over death, to make sure that the world would never overpopulate and to give younger generations a chance. Emzerra created all that we live of, all nature, whilst Xeal-An, the last goddess gave the coming creatures emotions, love, hate and all other. Of course, the god's master, who they called Miramor wanted to create the first races to inhabit the world, he created Giants, Demons and Dragons. The three most powerful races to ever walk the world. The gods each shaped a few races each, and the beginning of the world was now. Though the gods we're greedy and challenged and defeated Miramor for leadership, though Xeal-An fell in the battle and was reborn on the mortal world as a lesser being."
Years passed, and the races we're in a state of evolution, where they started to seek civilization, many villages and even cities we're formed. The human build the two greatest cities ever, known as Garaga and Xenom. The human needed a leader, one who would rule them. This man become the first king of mankind, too rule over two great cities as Garaga and Xenom was an honor, and the kings name was Adam Replexius I. He ruled the kingdom fairly and the people lived well, but one day a gladiator by the name of Hans the Warrior challenged the king to gain his position, overestimating himself, Adam accepted and fell against the gladiator who became the next king. He was a king of greed, and eagerly wanted more. Starting to seriously train soldiers, both infantry and cavalry, the human army was greater than that of all other races combined. Not expecting an attack, neither of the other mortal races stood a chance against the overwhelming might of mankind. It was around this time that a young boy named Henry entered the great city of Garaga, he spoke to his it's citizens how the other races where treated, like animals he said. They we're slaves, they we're raped, tortured, and murdered for no reason. He told them it could not continue like this, and revealed that he was the true king of Garaga, a forgotten son of the long-forgotten King Adam. With a whole load of citizens on his side, they marched towards the city center, enlisting more to join them on their way. With the local guard not acting against the citizens the king finally surrendered, leaving the crown to King Henry II, the former king ran away swearing never to return. Things we're looking good for mankind now, with their new king having formed peace with the other races, nothing could really threaten them. Then one day, the entire city blew itself up, killing anyone and everyone in it, destroying the whole city to the ground, no one knew, and know one has really found out yet, either. The former king of Garaga wasn't satisfied yet, however. And enlisted the aid of over a thousand soldiers, an army consisting mainly of former Garagian prisoners and criminals, his former followers, and mainly people who dislike the Garagian rule. He called his army the Dark Order, and became attacked Garaga. The attack was a true disaster, and he succeeded only in dooming himself."
"Much, much later, near the time where we are now, Garaga is at a standstill in time. Their new king Victor Replexius IX has led the kingdom pretty much to dust, the number of beggars and prostitutes has never been bigger, and great parts of the Garagian army has been disbanded. Nothing is really going great for the kingdom any longer. Around this time, The leader of the greatest army Garaga had ever controlled, Linazo of Scarock was banned from the city after being forced to watch his wife having sex with the king of Garaga and taking action against it, Scarock was disbanded. The all-seeing council calling itself the X5, has sensed a dark threat coming. Uncertain of what this could be, they sent an ambassador to Garaga, one of their members, Lynbite of the Wolf". His mission is to convince the king of Garaga that the threat is indeed going to come, and it will be like nothing the kingdom has ever faced before. The king was finally convinced, Dark Order was recreated, but this time by a greater evil. He rode out with a thousand knight to terminate the threat, but got himself killed instead. The prince disappeared shortly after, and things we're not looking good. In this time, a team was trained, a team that would even the odds for Garaga, they we're chosen and blessed by the gods, or so atleast, said the prophet.
