Seas =) <--(ignore if you don't like it ^^)

I got 3 Str heroes. Mountain Giant(Model: Mountain Giant), Dragon Spawn(Model: Dragon Spawn) and Sphere Walker(Model: Satyr).

All of them are tanks, got high str - medium agi - and lower int.

Problem is - I don't have any spell ideas for them. I don't want make a simple War Stomp - also I don't want make an imba ultra ability -> just "medium abilities needed"

Maybe someone get an Idea or two Ideas - would be cool if you can help me =)

Note: Each Hero can be played by each Player

more info would be great. type of map, setting, at least that.

but for now:

Sphere Walker (find this name interesting)

Sphere Shield - basically a mana shield. each attack made against the hero while he is under the effect of Sphere Shield has a 5/10/15% chance to restore 1*Intellect mana to him.

Anger Burst - based off frost nova. causes all affected targets attack the hero. restores mana equal to Intellect * Number of targets hit by Anger Burst.

Scorching Chill - drains X mana per second from the target for up to 10 seconds. reduces all damage caused by target by 1% for each second of channeling. maximum of 10 stacks. after the spell ends, the effect will remain for 5 seconds.

Spheric Fusion - stuns all enemies in 300 radius for 3 seconds and dispels all magic from them. absorbs all mana from the hero heals him for the amount equal to the amount of absorbed mana. Also make sthe hero invulnerable for 4 seconds.

I once was creating an AoS map, but didn't finish it as many other projects of mine :D
So I can share the idea for a Stone Giant hero abilities:

Ground Crash - Active
Golem smashes the ground with his powerful fist, knockbacking all enemy units, that are close to him and dealing them damage. Damage equal to: 75 x Level of Ability. Knockback distance is: 100 x Level of Ability
Splitting Boulder - Active

Stone Skin - Passive
The damage taken by golem decreases. Also enemy melee attacker can get his weapon broken and damage decreased by 20% for 3 seconds at a percentage rate. Damage reduction is: 7 x Level of Ability. Percentage of the attack decrease is: 5 x Level of Ability.
Grave Thurst - Ultimate
Prevents all nearby enemies within AoE of 800 from moving or attacking and deals 85 damage per second to each. Duration: 2 + (Second x Level of Ability). Special effects: I made it look so that the hands (special effect) from campaign, where we steal the soul of orc keeps the units for this time unmoveable. :) Here is the path for hands I'm talking about: Abilities\Spells\Items\AIso\AIsoTarget.mdl
The ultimate reminds me of an Ancient Protectors (Rooftrellen) ultimate from DotA.

Jeah ok - about the map - it should be an Orpg (look signatur - problem is, the work stand atm because of some bugs.)

As I read this (both got rly good ideas!!!) - all 3 heroes are tanks - or should be tanks first of all. Now I will get your ideas and turn:
The Sphere Walker into a "Mana Tank" - use mana for tanking.

The Mountain Giant are the tank with the big hitpoints, with the stunt and big damage at one tagret. With all power etc.

Now the Dragon Spawn is left. Maybe someone have an Idea for him.

Anyway up to now you both get +rep for helping and your very good ideas.

Edit: Btw - the spells - I got 10 players - end max 10 players can choose 1 hero^^ so I need spells, which don't stuck - if more then 5 players cast them at the same time =) AND the idea is: A hero gots 6 spells. 1 basic skill - cant be lvled up - so it must be an ability that is usefull for the game. 4 normal abilities and 1 ultimate ability.

Sphere Walker:

Spheric Fusion will be ultimate then =))

two more abilities:

Recoil - converts 10% maximum life into 20% maximum mana. (it's the starting 1-rank ability)

Mana Torrent - turns target corpse into a font of mana, which regenerates X mana per second to all units in 200 radius. Lasts 5 seconds.



Dragon Spawn

Flame Breath (innate) - consumes all mana. Deals damage equal to double amount of consumed mana to all enmies in front of the hero. All enemies hit by the fire are disoriented, reducing their chance to hit by 15% for 15 seconds.

Scales of Steel - shields all nearby allies with a shell of dragon scales, increasing their defense by XX for 15 seconds.

Dragon Roar - releases a massive roar, causing all nearby enemies to attack the hero and reduces their damage by XX% for 10 seconds.

Aura of Dragon Wings (passive) - when a unit under the effect of Aura of Dragon Wings is attacked, he gets +XX defense for 5 seconds. Doesn't stack.

Aegis of Dragonfather (Ultimate) - channeled. makes all nearby allies (except the hero himself) invulnerable for 5 seconds. for the duration, the defense of the hero is increased by 200%. after the spell ends, all affected units (and hero himself) get +10 defense for 10 seconds.


mainly a support tank, focused on protecting his allies from harm. gotta be very useful in aoe-rich encounters
