Are online ORPG's and online RPG's still popular?

I dont see anyone hosting crusade rpg or anything else like that anymore,i am hosting crusade rpg most of the times ( ppl come in pretty fast ) but why doesnt anyone else host it anymore? ... arent rpg's and orpg's not popular anymore?

The popularity of maps come and go. If a new good rpg is released then people will play that for awhile untill a new one comes or it gets boring.

yea well I got bored of just creeping and no quests being in RPGs a while ago. I would play RPG's alot more if they actualy had a decent amount of quests to entertain you

There are some great rpgs like that, such as heart of winter.

I personally like The Black Road, Master CRafters Final Conquest..well...just takes to long..and well....its just boring. Black Road is fun and has customskins aswell as cool spells

I personally have not played any recently-made orpg's but judging by the continuing popularity of Wow, I would say that they are still popular.

That's why I <3 Survival RPG, and it looks like Shadow_Templar (My clan cheiftain ) might finally be making a new version of it!

Mh i dont like black road rpg,and also i dont like Defiances open rpg that much..

They have both the same reasons!

1. The terrain is pretty sucky ( i want rly nice terrain in an rpg )
2. The gameplay doesnt feel right...it feels dead..
3. When you kill or do something it doesnt seem to affect anything on your hero ( IT FEELS !!! offcourse it affects something it FEELS LIKE )
4. The world feels TO BIG,because other guys already spawn next to you with a level 50 banshee and then go creep and u stay alone creeping level 1 and 2 creatures,to big rpg's just give you the feeling u have to do sooo much!

.. Personaly i think rpg's arent realy popular on the moment at most ppl but there are still some rpg freaks around that like to play and host them!

yep im just right,most multi player RPG's and ORPG's dont have fantastic terrain i dont know why -.-
