Anti-aliasing in HD mode AKA making this game look ACTUALLY better

This tutorial is mainly for computers using AMD GPUs. If you use Nvidia, there is an equivalent option in Dynamic Super Resolution.
Tested on display with maximum 1920x1080 native resolution.

Have you ever wondered why HD mode looks like crap, even though it shouldn't?
HD mode provides players with an anti-aliasing option, but it doesn't seem to help that much. The default AA effect is only noticeable when looking at certain edges very closely, while other edges are unaffected and remain jagged. In addition to this, HD mode runs on DX11, which means AA techniques in the driver software (only support DX9 applications) would not affect HD graphics.

Well, don't you worry. I've found a solution. Also, it isn't actually an AA technique, so you got clickbaited.

Step 1: Find "Virtual Super Resolution" in your driver software. The equivalent option for Nvidia should be Dynamic Super Resolution. Spoiler

Step 2: Enable it. Duh. You probably don't need to toggle any other option. Spoiler

Step 3: Open Warcraft 3 Reforged -> Options -> Resolution. You will see that higher resolutions than your native resolution have been unlocked. Choose one of them and you're good to go. NOTE: Your performance will obviously take a hit, so be prepared. The highest resolution I could go is 3840x2160, and this provides the best visual quality, but my FPS would also drop to 28% of 1920x1080 FPS. If performance is a concern for you, you should find a compromise by picking one of the resolutions between your current resolution and your max virtual resolution.
