Introduction
Have any of you ever
wondered how large the world of map databases can
extend to? Have you every imagined the amount of
potential maps silently hidden within the cyber world
of what we call the internet? I am on a mission. This
mission is a great mission. One not to be messed with.
One not to be fiddled about. And I need all of your help
Objective
The objective of my
mission is to compile all potential, worthy and epic
Warcraft 3 Maps within the massive cyberspace world.
It would take a huge amount of time and effort and
I cannot do it without you.
What You Can Do

I need all of your cooperation. What you can do for me is to
give me an ORPG map. Simple enough. Even simpler
is to give me an ORPG map link. Simpler and much
more appreciated. If you know of a less mainstream
ORPG map, please post it here. That's the objective
of my mission. Here are the condition for submission:
  • Map by be an RPG, ORPG or any form of Role Playing only. Nothing more, nothing less.
    [*]Map must be of good quality. Map will be     reviewed.
  • Map must be compatible with the latest Warcraft 3 patch, Patch 1.24e.
It's A Great Map But...

If the map if of good quality but is
not compatible with the latest Warcraft 3 map,
then I will give an excuse. Only exceptionally good
maps will be excused. Maps that cannot be playable
with the latest patch will be moved into a different file.

Ill make sure to keep you in mind when im tryin maps, also if u dont mind me asking id like to to kno if you plan on storing these somewhere where other ppl will have access to it? and if so if i could get a link or w/e id like to check it out myself :p

Well known maps such as Aeroblyctos' Chosen Ones will definately be accepted.

@Coltsteel3: Once I have gathered enough maps, I plan on creating a map pack. (With all of the author's permissions of course).

It's been few yeas when the campaign was last time reviewed so I thought this could be a good chance to see how much the campaign has been improved and what still can be improved. Review it well or this whole thing is useless and we're wasting our time. I don't mean you must give it high rating as possible, the more you criticize it the more you help me.

And if your review is good I might put it to somewhere of course with your permission.

oh and I think it's awesome that someones putting together a map pack of ORPG's and RPG's =D

also i seem to be good at finding random obscure maps I do know of more ORPG's but some well are crap and others Okay for a hour or so

Anything below "Needs Improvement" and under will not be included in an ORPG Player's Guide to the Universe of Maps.
Anything with the status of "There's Potential for Greatness" will not be included
but will continue to be watched for improvement and

You know a pack with every map you think is good would become huge in a short time right?
ToY alone is like 8MBs
Idk how big the others are
I don't think that many people would download a pack that is like 50MBs of maps just to find out they only like one or two of the maps

Everything. Overall, I wouldn't call your campaign bad but there definitely is room for improvement. The Terrain definitely could do with more work and so do the quests. Please improve your tooltips too. Don't make them too long. It'll look cumbersome to read. But overall, the gameplay was pretty fun. If you still want that review, just contact me.

This Map Pack is merely meant for players who instead of having to search everywhere for good RPGs, they could just simple download them from this pack. I would of course name the maps included o so as to see if anybody would like a map included or removed. This map pack isn't something to gain more reputation for myself, it's a convenience to RPGers like me who find it frustrating that we have to search every corner of the Internet and spend hours upon hours to test and separate bullshit from good work, most of which aren't widely recognized.

Like I said, this Map Pack is a convenience for everyone. If you think it's too big, you either:
  • Not download it, your reasons entirely based upon the single statement that "It's too big. I think I'd rather download them separately."
  • Be helpful and suggest ways I can decrease the size of this Map Pack.

Hey.

Actually it would be very important for me that you would tell me more about your thoughts. What still need to improved and what are the strongest sides where improvements are no longer needed.

My thoughts: The whole thing was too constructive and spinal. Make it more sandbox. It was also, in some parts too draggy, such as skill descriptions.

Strongest Sides: Questline. I like the whole storyline, but as I said before, it could definitely do with some pruning.

That's all I can give you for now.
