I started with a cinematic some time ago... I'll post terrain shots of all places when I'm done with them. Here's a place in the beggining of the cinematic.

Grass and rocks... Not much to say, but the atmosphere is nice. Work faster, I want to see more screens
is there gonna be something there in the corner were its just empty and endless?
Pretty nice. Try using the grass2 model, link attached [http://hiveworkshop.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=23340&stc=1&d=1207432395], instead of the rushes. It just looks a lot better at times. Nicely done filling up the empty space with the camera angle and all.
Looks good. Nothing too spectacular. You captured the Barrens atmosphere nicely.
Thanks. Right now I'm calculating shadows... DAMN that takes a very long time with 8056 doodads :S
lol I remember doing that for a map with over 15000. I think I fell asleep.
Haha, I remberer reading that there was some kind of doodad limit with 8000 what about it?
I think the limit is somewhere from 10,000 - 12,000. I use UMSWE. So no limits for me. :S
Still too blank. Add more small rocks in the ground, and some life.
Change the maximum pitch and roll angle of the units you are using to 0 inside the object manager. That will look much more realistic. : >
(This doesn't count for vehicles and four-feet-units.)
