that means that you were running the game on settings that were too demanding for the graphics card. only thing you can do is lower settings or update to drivers that enables more power. i experienced the same problem in world of warcraft because i ran it at too high settings for a gtx 550 ti. the graphics card then ran out of memory and shut down. you could get a better graphics card if your computer supports that.
