I take it this is from the people who made the UT 2k4 mod. If it then I'm really looking forward to it.

Played it yesterday. It's pretty fun and also has levels and weapon unlocks to provide some longevity.

Game seems to have frozen after I tabbed. Not sure if it's a bug, or a one time thing.
Was alright as far as I played it. Didn't beat the level, so there was no upgrading and whatnot, which could be incentive to actually play, but probably not enough.

Good game if your really bored.

I give this game my approval. Although there are better games, you would be hard pushed to find one this good at its price (free).

The learning curve is steep. Remember to use offhand weapon and hit the e button on interactable sites.

Also be warned that lag will kill you. First game I joined I had no clue what on earth was happening as everything was teleporting. Also do not dance around unless under range fire and stand back from enemies as there is friendly fire and not shooting you can be pretty difficult if you are infront of the enemy moving irratically.

Problems I notice are...
1. The video in the background of munues jumps from time to time.
2. If you are hit too much your screen shakes so you can no longer see anything useful for a while pretty much meaning your dead. People say this is ittentional but if it was shaking was a very stupid chice of effect as seeing random images on your screen is not pleasant.

I played 2 missions as tech, its hard to hack when people dont stop monsters hitting you lol.

Yeah, game is fun as hell when you are playing with people you know. As for difficulty, normal doesn't seem especially hard, and we were able to clear most of the levels on hard after a few tries. Haven't gotten past the apartment mission because of people having to drop out before we could finish it (and because parasite are evil).

One of the things that you need to have is a welder. Welding doors behind you can kept some of the swarm off your back, which helps a lot.

Anything below hard is boring.

I have completed nearly all missions on hard before finishing them all on lower difficulties.

For the first mission, you need accuracy and control. Simply set the team up with some automatic weapons like auto guns on specalisits, prototype on tech and medic could probably use an assult gun.

Second mission is the elevator. This needs some nice tactics to do easilly. Both medic and tech should have high accuracy damage and range weapons like the rifle. Both specials go auto gun and auto gun turret with tesla traps. Procede through the mission carfully advancing, the offhand of the tech + the specials will easilly handle everything. On the elevator place both sentuaries on top corners point into the midle of the platform so people can stand behind with no worry of getting hit. Place some tesla traps all around to make sure the enemies get slowed. Then get the medic and tech to just shoot the crap out of the stuff comming up the wall in the back with their weapons. Specials can try using their autoguns on the stuff as there is nothing else to shoot at but they are not the most effective in my experience. End result of this strat was me making it through hard more with 0 allied hits, 110 kills, 0 damage taken and a nice achievenemnt or 3.

Mission 3 is the first really open area. You will face a lot of badies swarming you. Although autogun senteries can help, they are not vital and you will discard them after the first hack sequence or boss. You are after any gun that deals massive area damage. Officers should consider a vindicator, and specials a mini gun on offhand. Onhand you need reliable point damage weapons to help keep enemies back like autoguns, flamethrowers or anything like that. Armor or gernades are best in this mission as you will not camp much and need the extra pushing power. Progress carefully to the house, making sure not to get too badly beaten up. In the house set up any sentaries and get 1 guy on evey entrance. The medic can probably shoot out the stuff to the right. Miniguns will totally decimate stuff comming through the doors. Progress carefully to the armored guy battle, if you have a sentary you can bring it with to help out but just go ahead and shoot the crap out of it, flaming it + explosives and it will die fast. Now the final part gets rough as you will have huge waves of aliens attacking you from both sides. The miniguns work wonders here as well and will probably let you push faster than the ship can fly.

As for the parasites, it is advisable to procede carefully or bring tesla armor with. One tap of hotkey 1 and you can have them quickly off with atleast some of your life remaining.

Parasite Mission is easy provided your medic isn't retarded and you stand near him. If he is quick swapping to medigun (the faster he reacts, the easier it is to kill the parasites), you should have no problem. Also the fact that parasites glow in the fucking dark helps, as well as having a guy with Tesla gun (he can shoot them without risk of FF).

Tesla armor also helps a hell of a lot.

Well I did it, completed the game on insane.

Took a few retries but it ended up working quite well.

In the cargo elevator, forget killing the aliens by the door to the outside, just run past them and start the elevator. This will save a large ammount of ammo which helps with the lift. Taking 3 senteries helps.

In the sewers you need someguy with high DPS, the sniper rifle seems nice at this, to kill the tough aliens down there.

Tesla guns are a must in most missions.

Learn where parasites are so you do not get infected.

Quick load helps a lot to save wasted time with tesla gun.

The most annoying mission on insane is the residential building. Full tesla gun team with flamethrower and a special with sentry and traps for the end.

Do not try to attempt it while power leveling as you might lack crutial pieces of gear.
