Aeon of Strife

Just got a simple question, does anyone have the original AoS? I looked in Maps, but just got a few AoS, if not, could someone tell how it works? Just wondering for debating purposes, mainly, if it's more like DotA or Heroes & Empires, or something else, anyways, the map or a discription would be appriciated, if availible.
