Add resources at start-up

I have this trigger:

  • Start Resources
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Player - Add 100 to Player 1 (Red) Current gold
      • Player - Add 100 to Player 2 (Blue) Current Gold
For some reason, when I test this map in multiplayer, only player 1 gets the gold. Player 2 never gets the extra 100 gold.

I also have this:
  • Melee Initialization
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Melee Game - Set starting resources (for all players)
These resouces are added to both players, but the extra 100 gold only goes to player 1.

What am I doing wrong?

      • Player Group - Pick every player in (All players) and do (Actions)
        • Loop - Actions
          • If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
            • If - Conditions
              • ((Picked player) controller) Equal to User
              • ((Picked player) slot status) Equal to Is playing
            • Then - Actions
              • Player - Add 1000 to (Picked player) Current gold
            • Else - Actions
Adds the specified amount of gold to all players which are in-game and are controlled by user.

You are not doing anything wrong, you dont need to modify your triggers. The ansewer is pretty simple:

  • Melee Initialization
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Melee Game - Set starting resources (for all players)


Delete it!

After you set the resources, this stupid trigger makes everyone have the default resources again.
