About Warcraft maps

Hey it's true that you can't play many of this maps if you didn't downloaded yet the 1.18 patch :?:
I'm asking this question because none of this games is playable in my Warcraft III Frozen Throne.

Patches often "break" maps, forcing the authors to release new versions that are compatable with the new version of wc3, but thats more often NOT the case. If ALL your maps are not working, you got something else going wrong.

ok well if you have 56k alot of the time maps over 4KB dont work if they just plain dont work even all the ones that arnt even 1 KB well i dont know it might help if you say what comes up besides there is no harm in downloading the latest patch why not download

I didn´t updated yet because when I upload the patch it says that I can't enter Warcraft III because I didn't put the CD in. Do I need to search in the Internet a crack for the patch or what :?:
