about the Blizz Importer

nah, particles won't change anything. The importer crashes when the vertices are canonized.

Art Tools exported meshes conserve the separations that the meshes which conformed then had, other exporters like NeoDex and Guess's don't do that since they use different skinning systems.

You may be saying "oh okay, you are right, but why does the importer crash?"

The importer had been made to be compitable with Art Tools, thus it tries to detach the big geosets into the original mesh. When the mesh is canonized, the importer fails at trying to detach the geoset into pieces and so on it crashes.

you mean to canonize and uncanonize?

only canonization can be done directly using MDLVis.

For uncanonizing the model you must import the mesh, uncanonize it, export it as a single mesh, replace it in the original file, synchronice the matrices and try once more to import it.
