[Abilities] - Guys I need help with "normal" abilties :)

    Champion Abilities



    Combat Powers
    Mortal Blow (Combat Power) [Squire]
    Champion strike nearby enemy unit from small distance dealing damage and stuning target.

    Roar (Combat Power)
    Champion increases nearby friendly units damage.

    Concetrate (Combat Power) [Thief]
    Makes champion invisible, he can move faster, and the first attack he makes while invisible will deal bonus damage. Champion has increased Critical Strike for some time as well.

    Destruction Powers
    Fire Bolt (Destruction Power) [Sorcerer]
    Deals damage to target enemy units.

    Fire Blast (Destruction Power)
    Deals damage to group of enemy units.

    Arcane Blast (Destruction Power)
    Deals damage to group of enemy units in a line.

    Frost Nova (Destruction Power)
    Deals damage and slowing group of enemy units.

    Holy Light (Destruction Power) [Monk]
    Heal target friendly unit or deal half damage to target enemy undead unit.

    Conjuration Powers

    Spiritual Powers
    Haste Aura (Spiritual Power) [Thief]
    Increases nearby friendly units' movement speed.

    Weakness Aura (Spiritual Power)
    Reduce armor of nearby enemy units.

    Horror Aura (Spiritual Power)
    An aura that reduce nearby enemy units damage.

    Slow Aura (Spiritual Power)
    Decreases nearby enemy units' movement and attack speed.

    Life Regeneration Aura (Spiritual Power)
    Increases nearby friendly units' life regeneration rate.

    Trueshot Aura (Spiritual Power) [Ranger]
    An aura that gives friendly nearby units a bonus damage to their ranged attacks.

    Briliance Aura (Spiritual Power) [Sorcerer]
    Gives additional mana regeneration to nearby friendly units.

    Endurance Aura (Spiritual Power)
    Increases nearby friendly units' attack speed.

    Devotion Aura (Spiritual Power) [Monk]
    Gives additional armor to nearby friendly units.

    Vampiric Aura (Spiritual Power)
    Nearby friendly melee units gain percent of their attack damage when they hit enemy units.

    Command Aura (Spiritual Power) [Squire]
    An aura that gives friendly nearby units a bonus damage to their melee attacks.





    Above is list of all abilities available to any champion class.
    I need ideas for missing spells :)

    some comments first:
    I don't see the relationship of that... ^_^

    Gravity Crush

    The target unit is slowed down for the 5 seconds, the slow factor is small at the start and increases during the duration. (like at first second, 20% slow, then after 2 seconds, 40% slow and so on...)

    Then at the end of the duration, the target will be damaged by the amount (intelligence*spell level)

    finally, an ability thread!

    quick combo/something like that
    The hero launches a few attackes (Punches, arrow shots, spells, whatever you like) at the target unit, stuning it while attacking.
    It's a channeled ability, so while it's chanelled, the enemy is stunned and recieves the specific amount of damage depending from agility of the hero.

    Whirlthwind/Swing Attack
    Hero quickly spins around once, damaging and probably knocking back the surrounding enemies. Damage depends from strenght.

    This one will work only if the critical chances systems are trriger based, but might work in other situations too:
    Battle concentration
    The hero spends his mana while ability is on, but his critical and evasion chances are increased. This one is related to mana amount quite a lot since it requires a lot of it...

    Charge
    The hero quickly runs to the targer area not far away with high speed, becomming invulnerable for a moment and dealing damage to all the enemies on his way. Damage depends from strenght.

    Purification
    The hero removes all the effects from himself, including both positive and negative.

    Something like inverted purge :)
    Will see about this one... For now it's ok.
    Huge attack speed bust, something like that right...
    Cool this can be ok for any class :)
    Nah only squire can use this animation and I need spells for all hero classes.
    Aahhahah this one is epic!
    Nah I don't want to use blink like spells for now :)
    For now there is no 2 many creep abilities, but as soon as I add some skeleton mages and so on, this can be interesting :)

    Thanks for ideas, some are really great, at least to me, what you guys think?

    Erm Charge is not like blink, it's like a straightforward movement for some time. Though it would work only for Squire...

    Yea, so that fast combo would be like small speed increase with a stun for some time.

    More ideas:
    Paralizing blast
    Hero attacks the target enemy, decreasing target's movement speed drastically for some time and decreasing the movement speed of other enemies that are surrounding the target a bit.

    since you want a different type of skill/spell. here are some of my ideas:

    Change weapon: Not based from Dota's Troll Warlord Skills, but to consider a unique way of playing a different skill, try making a spell that can fit to all of your class types, example Change your weapon into melee you'll get + strength but - agility, and tag range in vice-versa.

    Link Spells: Remember Pandaren Brewmaster's Epic combo skills when you add Breath of Fire with Drunken Haze? here's my sample, make a spell that can amplify or can be applied with another spell. if you can make an idea out of it.

    I will work on map tomorrow and try to finish abilities, credits and progress will be shown as well :)

    Hey guys I just updated 1st post.
    Can you give some ideas or just post suggestions, thanks.

    Examples:

    Rage (Combat Power)
    Increase champion attack and movement speed for few seconds.

    Inner Power (Combat Power)
    Squire -> Increase hit points, life regeneration and magic resistance.
    Ranger -> Increase attack range, critical strike.
    Sorcerer -> Increase mana points, mana regeneration.
    Monk -> Increase evasion and movement speed.
    Thief -> Increase attack speed and movement speed.

    Please use wc3 icons only :)

    Not exactly sure about the roar, it's more suting for some kind of beast than normal warrior or mage... though you could change the icon and reanme it to something like "Startling scream" or "Demoralising Shout".

    Are the icons definitive? We all know the Warcraft III aura icons, no one is going to blame you for using them. But if you look at them and then look at the spell, you see they don't match at all. A Haste aura and the icon is a green fist with a club? Life regeneration is a helmet in a field of orange? Weakness is an icon full of flares? Some of the icons have nothing to do with the spell and then you lose the purpose of the icon. For me, an icon is used to identify a spell in a blink of an eye.

    Well yeah, but for most of auras it does apply. I mean, most of auras with same effect in melee warcraft have the same looks.

    For start all spells will be based on blizzard ones, new players will easily understand them and it will save me time :)
    It will be easy to change spell or 2 with each new version than now working on everything.

    Here are some:

    The caster targets a friendly unit and links the caster to the target. After this, the targets health becomes equal to of that of the caster.

    Brutal Strike
    The caster jumps to the target unit and then attacks the target. After it is done, the caster returns back to their former location.

    Heroism
    The caster selects a friendly unit in battle and speeds toward the position of the target unit then blocks the enemy, forcing the enemy to battle the caster.

    Weapon Empower
    The caster temporarily increases his attack damage by x for a short amount of time.

    Taunt
    The caster taunts all nearby weaker enemy units to attack him.

    Natures Blessing
    The effect of this depends on the heroes class.
    Squire: Increases hp and hp regeneration.
    Ranger: Increases the chance to deal a critical hit and the attack damage.
    Sorcerer: Increases intelligence and mana.
    Monk: Makes the chance of the Monk's attack to miss lower and increases evasion.
    Thief: Increases attack speed and agility.

    What abaut

    Frost strike
    [​IMG]
    Frezes the enemy target to the ground for X seconds dealing Y damageevery secound in frost damage.

    Fireball
    [​IMG]
    Hits all enemys in selected location dealing X damage. The explosion knocks all enemys close to the ball on the ground for Y secounds dealing Z additinoal damage every secound.

    Ahaha I just created Fireball spell, it deal damage to target equal to hero int x spell level x some variable.

    Frost strike can be done :)

    Great to hear and huge thanks for rep :) in normal surcomstances I would have give you some rep diractly but since I've tossed ot all rep to random people you have to wait 22 hours :S

    Okej here's 2 warrior spells/abilities

    Killing Frenzy

    The Warrior goes into a frenzy making him deal X% extra damage and he also takes Y% more damage. This spell consumes Z Energy/Mana per second and the frenzy ends when it is deactivated or the warrior have no Energy/Mana.

    Tossing Wepons
    [​IMG]

    The warrior tosses his axe like a bomerang throwing it so it deals X damage in a huge area just to return to him after Y seconds. While the axe is throwed the warrior can not attack.

    Maybe for the Tossing Weapon, maybe it could go like this:

    The caster throws his weapon in a boomerang-like manner and it picks up fast speed. Whenever the weapon hits a unit in its way, it slows down. If the speed becomes zero, his weapon is dropped on the ground. If the caster casts this, he is unable to attack, due to lack of weapon.
