Hey, guys. It's been a long time since I've done any serious fiddling with wc3, and I recently started fixing up some stuff for a buddy of mine because he asked me to.

I have searched, and cannot find anything on this. I'm sure this is a simple matter, and I'm probably just missing something since it's been so long. Here goes.

Basically, I have this aura I'm trying to make. This aura should basically mimic the effect of Cripple, but as an aura, not a targeted spell.

Is there already an aura that does this (Reducing movement speed, attack speed, and damage), or is there a way for me to do this without using triggers? Or am I going to have to trigger it?

If possible, I'd prefer not to have to trigger it. Not looking forward to diving back into triggers after such a long hiatus.

Yeah, I want it to be one ability.

I mean, I guess it would work if I could use the endurance aura, and hide command aura from showing up in the buff panel on the UI. That is, below the portrait, etc., where you can mouse over abilities. Because if it just shows two abilities, that ruins the point.

About hiding the abilities (Endurance Aura and Command Aura), you can use Spellbook ability to hide it, I'm sure you know how to hide it via spell book right ?

I think that Endurance Aura (as slow unit's speed) and Command Aura (reduce damage) is the best choice.

Just make sure you change the Stats - Targets Allowed :)

No, no, you misunderstand.

I don't mean hiding the icon via spellbook I mean hiding it where the auras show up in the middle of the screen, at the bottom. For instance, you're snared, and you see in the middle, at the bottom, the Ensnared icon flashing. THAT is what I mean.

won't that remove the effect of the buff as well on the affected units?

For instance if i remove the command aura buff, it won't have reduced damage, right?

That's what I thought. So then would I have to trigger this instead, then?

Or is there a way to add both effects to one aura?
