I don't understand something, people is not supposed to post anything about map protection / map unprotection but for some reason this site has a huge Map protection begging thing when you click on FAQ ?

you got the point

Darky put everything everyone "would" discuss about map protection (exception for if they are right or wrong, which is forbidden to discuss here for obvious motives) in the FAQ, so there is no necessitie of breaking this rule

Everything? But that thing seems to be more of a spread of missinformation about the topic rather than anything else

It is true that it is mostly missinformation about the topic, the concept that things like map protection / unprotection exist is pretty arcaic actually.

The FAQ was made by Darky to try to make people stop using "map protection" and to explain why his script flames maps that have deleted or 0 kb wtg files. It is untrue he made it to stop discussions; The rule about the discussions was added later and not by Darky.

And that FAQ is really outdated by the way
