3ds Max 8 - Exporting textures problem

So, heres my situation
I finally finished my first wc3 model which i made in 3ds max 8
now i want to export it, but the textures i made wont be exportet.
I tried to export it into a .obj file and then into a mdx file with a converter i found here =)
the texteres wont be exportet, theyre not in the .mdx file and in the .-obj neither.
So plllsss help me i relly want to get ready with my model

I tried to install the script and followed the manual, but when i press the runscipt button and run the script nothing happens =(
Is it because im moddeling with 3dmax 8?
pls tell me what is wrong with it :eekani:

allright, so i found out where my probme was
but now i cant export it with my animations and the textures arent there, too
do i have to add them as in Dex script?
when i make the file, 3d max tells me:

"A modifier exists in the stack that depends on topology.
Changing parameters may have undisirable effects.
the dependent modifier is: Unwrap UVW"

but im very new in modeling and from germany^^
so what u just said didnt make any sense to me :S
could you pls explain it to me a bit easier to understand?

hope the image helps you, after clicking that click yes. You can also collapse all the modifiers by reconverting the object to "Editable mesh"

omg im just too noob like for this -.-
so, when i collapse the data and run the script the is an error which tells me:

--No""-"" function for undefined

what to do against it? what does this mean?

I just selected 3 meshes. No animations, no particles etc

Edit: SO, i have no idea what i did wrong before but now i can run the script after collapsing the meshes.
But the textuere wont be shown at all :S.
I think ill try to add the texture manually and write back then if it works

Result: I tried to add the texture with the wc3 model editor but anyway it doesnt work.
The texture is schown, but not where it should be,

I just thought about how i just textured the model and maybe i did a mistake that i dont know, becaue before 3ds max i worked with gmax and blender and just did the texturing just like i learned of these programms, so i will tell you what i just did so you can see if i made any mistakes.

first i did a uvw unwrapping and selected normal mapping and got the front and the back of my model.
Then i made a screenshot of it cutted the map out and textured it in photoshop.
then i made a new material, which was the textured map.
When i render the model everything is where it should be, so i think i did everything right, but i just work with 3ds max for a short time so i cant say if its right or wring pls tell me

Ps: Sry i forget in by now, but to all of you who already helped or even tryed to help me out I thank you so much for that =) ur awesome :grin:

Noone helped me since my last request and i really want to know where to problem is for you to help me, because i think the reasom may be that i anythink unclear for you

pls tell me the things you dont understand with my problem or what i made unclear.
How can i help u to help me^^? pls tell
