2 same-based spells on same hero?

hey, i'll make it quick ^^ is it possible to have 2 spells based on the same one on 1 hero in any way? doesnt work when i try but is there any way i can make it work? thankz

what spells is it? And why would you need two of the same kind?

Shadow Strike, i need 1 spell that only damages the enemy and 1 that does damage over time, and this 1 was actually the only 1 i found that doesnt stun the enemy too, theres probably another ability out there i can use too if i look more, (which i am doing atm) but i got curious too ^^

Use finger of death for the damage, and shadow strike for the damage over time. Try that.
