Emeralda
and
the
soldiers

Storyline:

Emeralda... the land of the Fey. It's a beautiful and resourceful eden. It's natural inhabitants are all peaceful creatures and Fey. But, the other greedy factions did not forget that this plentiful area was not heavily protected as fairies are not a warful species. After the other factions realized they were there and defenseless, at about the third century of their development, they attacked. Emeralda was slowly taken apart, flowers and animals torn apart, fairies slaughtered, and riches plundered. But, none of them could find the sacred core. "The Core of Beliefs," the capital of Emeralda, the capital of the Feylands. But, in the fifth century, Emeralda was almost completely destroyed, and the fairies had to give way to their secret location, so the other factoins would not decimate it further. The factions agreed, but then they turned on them, slaughtering all of the fairies. Then, the soldiers were all in the Core of Beliefs, and they all were celebrating their conquests finally achieved. But, now the most brutal and frightful fight awaited them all...

Summary:

In the land of Emeralda, soldiers from the dark and light kingdoms are gathering, in celebration of eachothers' great conquests finally achieved. They have entered Emeralda's sacred core, but now the most frightful and brutal fight awaits them both.

Gameplay:

Emeralda and the Soldiers is a strategy arena. You might think "Footmen Frenzy... again *bleh*!." Well, I'm here to tell you differently. In this map, you have a maximum of about 30 soldiers, and then you combo those units with others that you train. With this amount of strategy, there are also several heroes to choose from. All of which have JASS and GUI triggered spells. Not only that, but you will not recognise many items that you see, they're color scheme is something that no other map has ever done before. Even items that summon or deal damage are completely triggered. For instance, there is a grenade spell that uses bouncing physics.

Fan Fiction:
In the first days of Emeralda's forming, several heroes stood and watched as the beautiful trees and castles sprouted out of mere seeds in the ground. As the heroes watched, they were appalled at how much sprouted in a few seconds, and how it took them years to make such a beautiful garden. So, taking one seed shouldn't be a problem. their minds fluttered with selfish ideas. At last, they hurried in, one after another, dozens of them, slaughtering the Fey that resisted, they took all of the seeds they could find. After a few months, most of the seeds had been planted, and wars began in a struggle for seeds. They couldn't have done worse to they Fey, who were making a large army of fairies and Unicorns. As they marched toward the heroes and their armies, they were stricken with fear, their shear numbers and formations made them uneasy. The Humans, Orcs, Elves, and Skeletal Abominations took them by force, claiming heads as small trophies. The Unicorns were completely extinct at the end of the battle... but the Core of Beliefs was slowly resurrecting them, and a very gradual struggle would last until every seed was plucked.
Prior to the battle, the Fey had already thought out a plan. The Heroes and the Invaders set in to take the seeds and chop down the beautiful cherry trees, but, the seeds were cast with a single curse. A curse that would send all of them into exile and chaos, they were cursed to only be able to pick the seeds when there was only one faction left, and that that faction would be the worthy and would be able to rebuild Emeralda and their own kingdom with the seeds very easily.

Blood Mage Information!
The Blood Mage is a hero that we put into the game because it is strategically perfect, it includes all of the elements a hero needs to be useful in an open strategy arena such as this. We are discontinuing most of the normal heroes, and are including only the best melee heroes in the game.

Arch Mage Information!
The Arch Mage does to the map what a sensible commander does to the battlefield - he brings justice and order. With his abilities you can see lives being saved with healing, and lives being taken away with abilities similar to bombardments. The Arch Mage is a great addition to Emeralda and I hope you all think so too.

Dread Lord Information!
The Dread Lord is a classical hero that brings innovation and domination to the game. His abilities are strategical and diabolical at the same time. The Dread Lord has been brought to the field with some updated models and balancing. For instance, the Inferno will no longer be green - it is now pink!

Warden Information!
The Warden is a very powerful hero, her abilities make her shine bright like a star. She is swift and movable, her blink ability is a large boost that lets her go where no other hero can without maybe buying an expensive item, and a more expensive one to have it permentantly. You'll see that with this hero you can instantly go where no other hero can. This swift assassin makes the cut as one of the few melee heroes left in the game.

Tinker Information!
Mechanical genius. His abilities make him a power house, he can turn into a tank, create an army, and be a powerful leader at the same time! His passive abilities - both his tank's and his normal's are some of the best of any heroes in the game. He is terrific for testing, and he will be terrific for playing as well.

If you actually read any of this you'd know that it's not even remotley and RPG, or you might be mistaking it for MEDIEVAL RPG which me and HappyTauren are doing. Anyway, it's an extreme update of footmen frenzy, and doesn't have any of the crappy triggering or layout most footmen frenzies have. It's actually more of a Strategy Arena.

The terrain is 15% finished... I don't think you should judge the kitten on it's fur man. I posted four screenshots of some combat and absolutely no information about the looks of the map. I will make sure to give you some info on the terrain when it is say... 50% finished. So far, it has all custom or altered items, and I'm trying something new with the colors. I found that if you have all of your items being the same color it looks a lot better and makes players browse through all of them instead of just having the "pretty" ones getting purchased.

yes, it's going to be the Dark Makura hero. It's still in development, there's some info about it on Gamer Isle, but other than that I just wanted people to see that there's going to be a custom hero, and that that's what it's going to look like. Not only that, but most of the abilities are seriously altered.

hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm,

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

(thinking please wait...)

loading ideas...

well, the furbolg has spikes on his back right? or unless you use the ursa warrior, else there are many different types of furbolgs you can use, can be some ravager, berserker, beastmaster, earth-lord, spike-lord, rock-lord, shapeshifter, underground specialist, speedflyer, or just Beast. meh, ur decision.

Actually you can get that from Cavman.

@Just_Spectating: Well, I'll need complete ability descriptions as well. And I'll also need complete skin paths and download links. I'll also need a storyline and a piece of Concept Art to go with him. It takes a lot of work to get a hero to work in Emeralda.
